How it works.

Refract brings students together in teams of 2–5 to choose a project, build a prototype and give a short demo. Meet people outside your usual classes and make something together.

What will you build?

Build with software, engineering, science or a mix of all three. Here are a few starting points:

Software & AI

Build an app, try a small model, or automate something you usually do by hand.

Robotics & hardware

Make a robot, work with sensors, or build a physical prototype.

Science & data

Use a dataset or a simulation to investigate a question.

Something else

Combine subjects in one project. These examples are just a starting point.

What is Refract?
